Keyboard shortcuts, no really keyboard shortcuts

We need to be able to keyboard shortcut, ALL, not some of the selectable tools in Carrara. I have requested this numerous times over the years. Example: I would like to shortcut to Paint Selection in the vertex modeler. There is no way to input a shortcut for this in Preferences.
This is just one example. Does anyone know of any aftermarket software to enable this?

    On a Mac, you can customize keyboard shortcuts for any application in the Keyboard section of System Preferences. I don't know about Windows.

    Window>Workspace>Customise. You can change the keyboard shortcut for a command by right-clicking on it in the list on the left, navigation and selection commands can be set in the tabs at the bottom (though modifiers are limited to the actual modifier keys - I wanted to use space-LMB for pan, but the spacebar isn't supported as a modifier).

    Are you referring to Carrara preferences? I cannot find Window>Workspace>Customize.

    Oops, sorry - I'd missed that it was Carrara.
