Hi, I had a similar issue and resolved it by hitting CNTRL + ] which displays the sidebar.
the sidebar where daz to blender usually is, is there... and cntrl + ] doesn't do anything else
as you can see in blender 2.93.6 daz to blender works and is positioned in the sidebar
in blender 3.0 nothing
for now i will just import to 2.93 and save the blend file and open in 3.0 it is very annoying
I see all the panels but the plugin won't work. It doesn't see the converted files.
Doen't work till Daz update it . That's all
After some tests, I also understand that the Bridge is not yet compatible with Blender 3.0
In fact, it can be installed manually : For Windows you have to copy the script folder of the bridge from "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.93\scripts" to your blender 3.0 installation folder.
If you don't have Blender 2.93 installed the bridge doesn't find the Blender 3.0 install folder so it creates a folder like "BLENDER ..." I don't remenber, sorry. So you can find the bridge in that folder and move it in your blender 3.0 installation folder.
After that, you should find the addon on your Blender's preferences and activate it.
That said, there is a lot of errors when importing Daz characters so I decided to still in Blender 2.93 and wait for an update of the Bridge.
Or as already said, import in 2.93 and reopen in 3.0 to update manually... :-)
This information was super helpful - thank you!
im on mac, and i cant find the location of the bridge file used to install in blender. ive uninstalled and reinstalled the file, but i cant get to the ":user/appdata\roaming\blender foundation\blender" file location. i can see user but cant locate anything past that... is this only a mac issue. ive done it previosly tho somehow.
I agree that there still appear to be problems working with blender 3.0. Even if I succeed in importing via blender 2.9, if I then open the saved file in 3.0 (with the DTB scripts copied over to 3.0 and enabled), I lose the morphs in the DTB toolbar.
