Hi all,
I have some trouble with importing figure morphs. I am new to Blender/DAZ and couldn´t find the answer in the manual.
- Add Geneseis 8.1 to my scene with all default settings (SubDivision Level 2) an default pose
- Using the DAZ to Blender Bridge with Subdivision Level 1 or 2 and no other options
- Import the figure in Blender via DAZtoBlender AddOn
- "ToSculpt" (also tried it without any changes)
- Export "To DAZ Morph"
- Back to DAZ with selected default Genesis 8.1 Figure
- Morph Loader Pro and selecting the created default to_daz_morph.obj file
- Loading morph to_daz_morph: Warning: Geometry did not match, failed to create morph.
With SubDivision Level 0 it works without any errors. But I get the error/warning if I set it to SubDivision Level 1 or 2. What do I have to do to solve it?
Many thanks

When you export the figure, it should not be subdivided. You can't import with subdivisions either. You can add subdivisions in Blender to make normal maps to use on your figure, though, but turn off the subd when you export.
Ok, but what is the function of these options? I just would like to understand
They may be useful if the object is not to create a morph
Cris Palomino / Richard Haseltine thanks for your help / explanation
