Hi and hello. I am new to all this and i sadly don't have the time ti read through every topic. I just want to know at the moment if daz and blender are compatible. example:
i found some nice free scenerie/location and ground textures made in blender - can i use them in daz? (sadly didn't find nice free sceneries/locations in daz yet)
thanks for reading and i look forward to your answers

In general the bridges support Daz Studio to Blender or other application. Materials are generally application, or at least render engine, specific though maps should be usable and there is a thread discussing the use of Blender sahder nodes in Shader Mixer.
They are not directly compatible. You cannot open a *.blend file in Daz Studio, or vice versa. However both support the major file interchange formats, such as *.obj and *.fbx. I've passed static props between the programs as *.obj files many times and it works fine, aside from some texture tweaking.
There is a (one-way) bridge that will let you export figures from Daz to Blender, but it it's basically a custom *.fbx exporter rather than true inter-program compatability.
