Copying Diffeo setup to 2.93

What is the best way to copy the Diffeo setup from Blender 2.92 to 2.93?

    at first launch blender will import the previous setup including plugins if you allow it, or copy and paste the folders it works fine too

    The problem with importing the previous setup is that Blender makes a copy of the addons in the new addon folder. I keep a single copy of my addons, and make symbolic links from each addon folder to that location. Blender doesn't seem to know about symbolic links and makes a new physical copy, which is not what I want.

    Addons may differ with the blender version as the api changes. So keeping a single copy with links is not a good idea.
