Cannot Minimize DS 4.7 window

I cannot figure out why DS 4.7 why it won't minimize when I open another open app from the toolbar. I have to manually minimize DS then I can open other apps. Is there a lock option I might have activated so that it stays in foreground until manually minimized? Also when I activate some commands like freeze ERC the dialog sits on a page in background and I cannot get to it to acknowledge. Any ideas or solutions welcomed.

It sounds as if you may have Always on Top checked in the Window menu.

Window>Always on Top.

By default it's off, as far as I recall.
