Can't get out of wireframe after fluid modifier

So if I add a fluid modifier to the mesh it switched over to showing my mesh in wire form. No matter what I do after that I can't seem to switch back into solid mode. What is going on with that?

Go to object properties tab(looks like a orange square on my install) and under viewport display change it from wire to however you want it to display. One of my biggest annoyances about blender, controls are all over the place, and sometimes not easy to find what you want to change lol

Some pics concerning wireframe options :) You can also set the opacity to a lower value to reduce the visibility of the wireframes.
