Edit: User Error - GoZ gpt Carrara 8 and Daz Studio

My GoZ in Carrara 8 Pro no longer seems to give crisp Normal maps like it used. I'm wonder if i'm using an old version of GoZ and if I am, how can I tell.

Do I have to pay for the newer version?

I assume the GoZ for Daz Studio is up to date as there is a new version of studio out. (Daz Studio appears unbecoming normal maps as well - like they are not crisp)

The Lightwave3D GoZ comes out reasonably crisp normal maps without any further modifications. (see below)

What am I missing or forgetting (using tangent normal)

EDIT: Found the problem and it has something to do with Zbrush 4.6 .
- Have to with each change to a GoZ application
-- Unwrap the mesh again at low resolution
--- Recalculate the normal map

Once done, the GoZ works properly in each application.

Weird - but whatever...
(added carrara render - no major work on it - just slapped it in with the original ice meshes.) carrara render bottom pic.

    Nice work.

So the creature is normal mapped? The ice? Or both?

    Nice work.

Just the creature is normal mapped.
It's 2.7 million polygons at high subdivision and 10.7 thousand polygons without subdivision.

The GoZ sends the low polygon mesh, the texture map and the normal map to Carrara 8 Pro.

The ice is just water shader with the transparency adjusted upwards and deformed in the model room.

The snapshot is the original mesh in Zbrush at 2.7 million polys - the other screens are basically untextured except for one color in the lightwave and carrara renders.

thanks for the compliment - it's all software - no talent here - heh
