Blender Axis changes when using Bridge

When I import a daz figure into blender I am trying to model clothes. The daz figure loads fine but the mesh or meshes I make to start making an outfit the axis
are all messed up such as extract G-Y moves on the X or Z axis instead but not in any given order. If I export a daz figure as obj and then impot that into Blender tthis does not happen
but then you cant pose the figure. Ive tried the diffeirmorphic route before but this taxes Blender too much and kills performance. Is this a bug and has anyone else ran into this?
I am using the latest version of Daz and Blender 2.92. Any ideas?????
