Is Nerd3D's Splash tool in DS 4 still buggy?

I just bought The Splash Tool before I saw the notice: The product description says "The current release of DS4 has a bug preventing proper operation of the Splash Tool." Is the bug fixed? Or should I return the product for a refund?
