Odd behavior using diffeomorphic (everything hidden)
I wonder if anyone could shed any light on the weird behavior that I'm getting.
I'm using the latest diffeomorphic stable release, 1.5.1c (also displayed as 1.5.1.1.1080) and Blender 2.92.0. I'm a fairly experienced Blender user.
Diffeomorphic works...more or less, but I have to jump through a bunch of hoops that are nowhere in the documentation.
Specifically the weird behavior is this: When I import a clothed figure, all I see is the clothes, not the body, and the main body rig appears empty. When I use the merge rigs function, I now have a rig that appears empty in the viewport.
After much mucking around, I finally found out that all of the bones on the rig are hidden. Likewise, the body mesh IS there, but it has been given a mask modifier that hides all vertices, because every single vertex is part of the "_HIDDEN_" vertex group specified by the mask modifier.
I can work around this by fixing it every time, but I feel like something must be going wrong somewhere. I've installed the latest version of diffeomorphic, and set it up as per the documentation (including the daz script) and this still happens.
Does anyone have any idea what on earth is going on? This seems very strange, and it started happening a couple of versions ago. I'd appreciate any light anyone can shed.

Sounds like you have the items hidden in the daz scene. So they are imported as hidden.
That was my first thought, and I checked for that. But clothes that are hidden in daz come into blender visible. The only things that are hidden in blender are the body, and the bones of the main armature, neither of which are hidden in the daz file.
Then it sounds as some corrupted diffeo settings. I know there were issues with the automatic update that's not code by Thomas, so if you used it you may try to delete anything and do a manual install of diffeo. Same if you didn't though. Also you may try with a clean daz content folder to check if you got some corrupted assets. Just temporarily rename your content folder and install some basic fresh assets in a new clean folder.
The idea is to check with a clean install and assets. Apart this I'm afraid I don't get more tips for you. I can tell everything works fine here so it's not a bug in diffeo, it is specific to your pc. Hope this helps.
I'll try those. Thank you!
