This is why I always use the search function and type in the morphs I am looking for. What's nice is that it only highlights the directory where those morphs are located. Genesis has two morph structures, shaping and pose, and unfortunately morphs have to be saved in their relative structure types. In terms of manually moving morphs, that is pretty simple. Just uncompress the .dsf, open in notepad++, and look for the following (see attachment). However if there is a product update, you might run into issues if the morph paths or type have been altered.

You can also click the gear icon on the slider, Parameter Settings and edit the path there (then File>Save as>Support Assets>Save Modified Assets).

No texture, just quick postwork in Photoshop. I made a new layer on top of render, set it to colour, and airbrushed a blue colour on the top part of the tongue.

Hi Guys. There will be an update to support the new Minotaur and Reptile shapes. When you use the new mouth open wider morphs you can see the inner mouth poking through. This has been addressed.

Excellent! Was literally just wondering if it would be compatible with the Reptilian stuff, which would seem to be stunningly relevant for a long tongue.

Well, the tongue morphs works perfectly fine, it is just the new mouth open wider morphs that cause issues, so I had to create a few JCM's to prevent pokethrough of the inner mouth mesh.

How do I find the Pose Morph List in Daz Studio for making the tongue longer?

All I see is the Shaping Morph List. Don't know if it matters, but Genesis 2 was saved on an external hard drive while Tongue Control was saved on my C drive.

    Found it.
I was looking for it while having the tongue selected in the scene.
The head has to be selected in the scene for the pose morphs to appear.

    Great product.

Having played with this for over a month now... and having done a lot of cross comparisons in the mirror, I'm still having a lot of fun with this. That said, I think what this needs to be perfect is 1.) a new set of UV maps for the inner mouth, as real tongues are much more glossy/translucent on the underside than on the top and 2.) some drool smartprops with a saliva shader. Any chance of an addon pack?

Yes an addon pack with a posable slime drop is in the works, as well as some mouth slime options.

Sounds good if I got that right... that's the props but not the UV maps?

And BTW, since Pose Builder just dropped in the store, is there any status on the TB render competition?

I just bought the tongue controls for Poser, but looking through the tutorial.pdf, it doesn't say where to look for it, just Daz Studio. All I see in my pose folders (doing a search) is 4 Zero morphs for Genesis 2 Female, and 4 for Male. I've tried looking from the tree down in the G2 body selection, head selection, tongue selection, I can't find any of the morphs to change the tongue that didn't come with stock G2.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi. The morphs should be located here. They are coloured in purple\pink. Please see screenshots for the paths. Thanks.

I figured out my problem, nothing to do with the morphs, it was just a corrupt save file, once I deleted/recreated a daz figure, it worked. Thanks!

I would love this product for Genesis 1. Is that possible?

No unfortunately. I have no plans to do a Genesis 1 version due to the amount of tongue products that were already available for it on other sites when I started on the Genesis 2 version.

Thanks for the response Zevo. I'm pretty sure I have everything you've made for Genesis 1.
I also have things for Genesis 2 but only because you've included control of Genesis 1 in them.
Just wanted you to know that because I love what you are doing.

Thanks for the kind words and support AstonBrennen. :cheese:

  • is there any way to transfer this product to the G3F figure? or do i have to wait until the G3M figure to come out and for you to create the G3 version?

  • Zev0Zev0 Posts: 7,089

I prefer to have both male and female bases available before I start products with duel support. Makes workflows a bit easier. But I do plan on doing a G3 version.

  • thanks!

There is a tongue product for G8 but it does not appear to have as many features as this one.  Would you consider making this product for G8?
