Daz to Max only face materials work (3ds max 2018)

-textures for Genesis 3, Genesis 8, Genesis 8.1 Fail on model (other than face)
-Any item in the scene, from hair, to fingernails, to swords, all get correct textures.
-only the arms, chest, legs and eye textures fail
-When I try to edit the textures in the 3ds max material editor, anything i do doesn't seem to change anything.
-Materials seem to work ok only with the base Genesis model.
-It is as though they have no UVs or something weird.
Tried reinstalling Daz, didn't help.

Are you exporting in OBJ or FBX?
I have had this same issue as i reported in the following thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/426531/texture-seem-to-not-appear#latest
I have not found a solution except doing a normal fbx export without using the plugin and then using another autorigger for the bones.
Although what also works is applying the shader of your choice ( I use vRay ) then re-apply the textures and apply to the mesh. Good luck BTW, i use both Maya and 3ds Max and the Maya plugin works MUCH better and the Maya HumanIK rig is really nice and easy to animate, plus over all Maya i think has a better set of animation tools than max and I have used max since Max 10.
