Months and months go by and I see no progress nor care for this bridge or its users at all. I've given up on this. Good luck to those who're still waiting for a fix.
Been away from Cinema for a while, but came back and installed the Bridge with the GitHub version... Still works nicely with Poser files, but it still refuses to export DUF files :(
In the meantime, I've taken to just manually pulling those out as FBX'es and reassembling them in Cinema4D. It's a tedious process but at least I can use the content I bought!
Will keep watching this thread + the GitHub.
Just updated to 1.1 and suddenly I can't send over my work anymore without totally mess and saying not supporting ... what is going on?
daz to c4d only uploading bones not the 3d model or textures? whats going on
The system seems to be sending the morphs over and organizing them. I still cannot get the hand pose morphs to work. The sliders don't seem to register any changes. The Visemes and expressions work just fine. I've been working in r19 and r24.
Maybe I've missed this but, how likely is an r25 update? Even if it stays as buggy as it is now, it'd be nice to be able to use it with the current version.
daz to c4d was working perfect in the previous build. I updated the c4d bridge to daz central's current build and tried sending a model from daz into Octane and they all end up like this regardless of my settings. Any way to revert to an older build of the bridge to finish my projects?
It is a shame Daz doesn't seem to much care about maintaining this bridge.
Hi guys, I can't find the daz 3d on cinema 4d. My cinema 4d is s24. whats going on....
Any update on when we can get poses transferred across, and when we can apply the IK rig in C4D but still keep the Daz poses?
Thanks
Bridge doesnt work;
Daz to Cinema 4D doesn't show in 'Extensions' tab
What am I doing wrong
Hi, the installation procedure for Cinema4D plugins has changed, so make sure you are following the directions on the FAQ page or the Github page:
Maxon Knowledge Base on creating a Cinema4D Plugins folder:
https://support.maxon.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500006433061-Where-do-I-install-plugins-
Installation Video:
Step by step instructions:
1. Create a Cinema4D plugins folder. Inside Documents folder, create "Cinema4D". Inside that folder, create a "plugins" subfolder.
2. Open Cinema4D and click Edit \ Preferences from the main menu.
3. Click Plugins on the left panel, then click "Add Folder" button at the bottom of the window.
4. Navigate to and select the Cinema4D plugins folder that was created in step 1.
5. Install DazToCinema4D Bridge via DazCentral or Daz Install Manager.
6. Open Daz Studio
7. Add a character or prop to the scene
8. Select File \ Send To \ Daz To Cinema 4D
9. In the DazToCinema4D Bridge window, enable the "Advanced Settings" checkbox.
10. Click "Install Plugin"
11. Navigate to and select the Cinema4D plugins folder.
I'm sure it was posted, but I'm having trouble finding it. What is the correcct way to connect Moves by Maxon to a bridged character?
