Winter has come and it is time for some fun! Fill your winter wonderland scenes with a variety of people skiing, sledding, skating and snowball fighting in high quality, flexible and easy to use billboards... perfect as a backdrop for the main action that you add.

The Winter Fun Bundle (40 Billboards total) is composed of the following products

  • Now-Crowd Billboards - On the Ice (Winter Fun Vol I) - 10 Billboards
  • Now-Crowd Billboards - Skiing and Snowboarding (Winter Fun Vol II) - 10 Billboards
  • Now-Crowd Billboards - Sledding and Snowmen (Winter Fun Vol III) - 10 Billboards
  • Now-Crowd Billboards - Snowball Fight (Winter Fun IV) - 10 Billboards

Billboards are a fantastically quick and resource easy way to add background crowds to your scenes. These pre-rendered elements are great to play the background characters in your scene. The Now-Crowd Billboards improves on standard billboards by providing 72 different views for every billboard figure. Change a billboard figure to 12 different horizontal angles and 6 different vertical angles. When your camera moves, the Now-Crowd Billboards can be changed to match.

There are also great scripts to make these billboards easy to use! There is one script to turn the billboards to face the camera and another script to change billboard figure angle based on horizontal and vertical orientation. Finally, there is a script that pushes your billboard directly away from your camera view or pulls it towards you.

Get Now-Crowd Billboards - Winter Fun Bundle for your winter time scenes today!

Notes: For Iray and 3Delight

No figures are included with this product.

No other products are needed to use the Now-Crowd Billboards - Winter Fun.

Note that Now-Crowd Billboard products are large ( >10GB) because of the many textures (72 images per figure x number of figures) and can take a while to download.

  • Cool! (pun only partially intended).

No chance of snow where I live so I'll have to render some :) Used to love snowball fights and sledding when I was a kid (and living somewhere colder)

I'll take this opportunity to reiterate how much I love the Now-Crowd sets for quickly and easily filling out a scene. I've just been using the Future Life and Droid sets along with the Utilities to set up a busy street scene for promo work

Thanks Silent Winter!  I appreciate the kind words.  I love them too; they help me create crowd scenes with pun-ishing the computer! cheeky

For the MARSA Elements Snow, I moved the offsets around.  I also had to use https://www.daz3d.com/easy-environments-winter-ii for the footprints and some ground depth

I am impressed with all the work behind this product
Using winter fun buildboards with DAZStudio or with Vue Infinite (exporting from DAZ in colladae format ,imported as it in Vue), it's so easy to compose a variety of scenes with these buildboards
    Many  thanks

You're very welcome!  I was very happy with how these came out; I could finally make a lot of winter scenes that I had wanted to make for a long time. smiley

Any thoughts about doing band members to have as backups for artists?

I have to admit not really: 1) concern it is a niche market; not many sales, 2) bands are usually few members so not really a crowd

    Unless it's a marching band ;)

Ooh, what about a parade? (musicians, baton twirlers, flag wavers).

    Now-Crowd constuction workers?

    Now-Crowd airport / train-station?

But enough off-topic, I wouldn't winter distract from the new bundle by skating around the issue, people might be mis-sled and then it'd snowball into an unmanageable to-do list laugh

Can you share where you got the skis and snowboards and their textures?

Thanks for all your great products.

It was a total pain smiley.  I cannot believe no one has done a snowboard outfit before.  For the snowboard, I cobbled together 2 snowboards and a boot from https://www.daz3d.com/swiss-room to make something work.  I had to fiddle with scale and I changed the textures up too.  For the skis, I used the boots from https://www.daz3d.com/winter-clothing-for-genesis-8-male-s and the skis from https://www.daz3d.com/french-ski-resort
