OBJ Export to Blender / No Cornea Material on Import

This happens all the time for the housecat model and occasionally for other models. When I import my OBJ into Blender, all the textures load save the outer eye layer, the Cornea material.
Now, all I have to do is import the node-array from an OBJ that did not fail in this fashion. But, honestly, it's happened so much that I think I will add the Daz Cornea custom-node array to my start file. I'm guessing it's the wackier characters that are why this is a problem (housecat, caryn/baby), almost never standard G3/G8 models.

This continues to be a problem - and has expanded to all characters. Is there any change? Are the rest of you importing your cornea materials just fine via the main import method?
I don't think I've ever imported anything from DAZ to Blender without tweaking the material in some way. The materials we are using were optimized for DAZ and Iray. The bridges provide a good starting point.
Rumor has it that the next Blender release (2.93) will have an asset manager which will make saving often used materials much easier (like corneas).
I've actually been using the alpha build and been feeling impatient about the content browser, but yes: it's on the way. I'm all over that next build. It's good to know that I'm not the only one with material issues; thanks for the confirmation!
i use the diff import, but sometimes want an obj...the eye textures never come in correct. I just turn the eye moisture to a transparency and just pick a color for the corneas since I only do cartoon characters in obj.
