Hi,

Eric:

"...Going forward, DCG will provide support and updates to Shoestring Shaders. Existing Shoestring customers continue to use your original unlock key from Shoestring Graphics or DAZ 3D.

The initial DCG release fixes a problem with the Drip shader in the bump channel under Carrara 8.5 and no longer requires running Carrara as an administrator to enter the serial number..."

    Hi Eric,

Do you have contact or control over other items on the site?

I got the Terrain Tools because I am interested in beach/surf creation. I have C 8.5 Pro and I can't get past #3 in Surf in the tut (see below link). Am OK up till then. It seems that more layers load by default in Texture in C 8.5 maybe than in older versions? I have Bump, Alpha, Highlight, Shine, Reflection...all kinds of layers before Transparency. So if I try to do the next operation in the tut in Transparency... I get nothing! Is there an updated tut for later versions than version 4 or 6 of Carrara? Screen shots of the further steps would help. It looks to be such a useful tool. Or am I just going wrong?

    Thanks :) Silene

OK solved the problem when I uploaded the completed scene that was listed way at the bottom (wished it had been at the top!)... it does take into consideration the added layers that are not mentioned in the tut.

Sorry to bother you on it... it works great now!
