for some reason i still haven't figured out why with the same maps that Daz provides - normal and diffuse or maybe even metallic - it looks much better on daz
i am using octane and i manually connect the maps in the node editor.
do daz models even have height maps ?

Maps as such are a small part of the story, the actual properties - mapped and unmapped - are the major factor in the way surfaces behave, and then there's the lighting to allow for.
i don't understand what i am missing
