Upgrading Question...

Hi. I was wondering if I upgrade from Carrara 6 Pro to 8.5 Pro, will I not be able to get back to 6 Pro? Just wanted to ask before doing so because I'm not sure if I'll be confused and I can't afford the time for a re-learning curve right now. Also, will I see a lot more "quick" objects/models in the newer version? And anything else?

    As far as I know, you can have BOTH Carrara 8.1 and Carrara 8.5 installed on your computer, as long as you install them in different folders (for example, install Carrara 8.5 in a Carrara 8.5 folder). So there's your answer. You don't like Carrara 8.5. Uninstall it.

    Makes sense. I guess I'll just have to see if it's possible to put the upgraded version in its own folder. Thanks.
