Fill your Roman streets, villas, and forums FULL of the Senate and People of Rome talking, walking, shopping, and acting in high quality, flexible and easy to use billboards... perfect as a backdrop for the main action that you add!
Billboards are a fantastically quick and resource easy way to add background crowds to your scenes. These pre-rendered elements are great to play the background characters in your scene. The Now-Crowd Billboards improves on standard billboards by providing at least 72 or more different views for every billboard figure. Change a billboard figure to 12 different horizontal angles and 6 different vertical angles. When your camera moves, the Now-Crowd Billboards can be changed to match!
There are also great scripts to make these billboards easy to use! There is one script to turn the billboards to face the camera and another script to change billboard figure angle based on horizontal and vertical orientation. Finally, there is a script that pushes your billboard directly away from your camera view or pulls it towards you.

No figures are included with this product.
No other products are needed to use the Now-Crowd Billboards - Romans. Each can be used stand-alone.
Note: Now-Crowd Billboard products are large (greater than 10GB) because of the many textures (at least 72 images per figure x number of figures) and so can take a while to download.

(But you could do with some slaves of various sorts. Not so much clothing, as poses: defential, background figures.)
I am glad you like it! I am not sure how wide an appeal this one has but I knew *I* wanted it. I just have to hope others are interested as well.
(Sorry, there were definitely more figures like that planned but this product got to 35 figures and I needed to stop. That said, I also want to do the Roman Legions and the plans for that have gotten out of control, requiring about 60 figures. I have no idea how I am going to pull that one off or if anyone would want such an expensive now-crowd product)
... and make some scripts to automatically grab different kind of props or put hands on different parts of the body - just an idea.
I do not know, if it is possible to do.
?? I feel like I came in on the middle of this one. These are script requests? Both of those ideas are difficult without collision detection built into the scripting interface.
Well, if you do get to Rome again: some slaves standing around deferentially, just waiting, eyes downcast would help populate a Roman scene as they would just be part of the furniture. (Happy to brainstorm ideas for ancient world things if you need furtehr inspiration.)

Finally ... I asked for this a long time ago. Next? Asian characters milling about I hope.
Edit: I will finally be able to complete one of my unfinished master pieces. This puts the finishing touches on that art work.
Too bad there are no Collosiem cheering, booing, etc. characters ...
