One of the compromises with using EEVEE for final renders ,was the fact that Emissive materials could not actually
cast light onto other objects thus you had to "fake it" with carefully placed point lights .
REJOICE!!..We now have a free principled screen space GI node to give us EEVEE animators REALTIME SCREEN SPACE GI for our renders.

Have to say... you're EEVEE renders are among the best I've ever seen. It looks less like EEVEE than Cycles.
My entire pipeline is based on EEVEE ,thus from the very beginning of the modeling,Shader building an lighting process I am doing ALL of my lookdev in EEVEE and I really love the Glow effect from EEVEE's Bloom option and cannot seem to repoduce it(in render)with cycles except as a post effect in compositing.
IMHO native materials, purpose built for your native render engine, will always look better and render faster than materials imported run thru some conversion plugin.
Now yes.. I do use the Reallusion CC3 Figures with their textures SSS distribution and normal maps.
However I am not shackeling & frustrating myself by trying to duplicate the brute force, path traced, volume based, SSS skins of DS Iray as I do not need that to tell my Sci fi stories and I dont Do still pinups&portraits
IMHO EEVEE is now very nearly comparable to unity or even UE4 now that we have this new realtime SSGI node and 2.9 has once again raised the bar!!!
Now we desparately need a native Iclone 3DX/Autodesk MOBU styled Characterization and retargeter!!!!!!!
GI in eevee is intended to be baked to probes but this also means static GI. This addon is interesting because it allows GI to be dynamic aka animatable. Since this is screen space there are issues though and it also doesn't work fine with reflections.
I guess the next step for eevee will be to implement real time GI for optix that should work fast enough with rtx cards.
