Bridge doesn't do anything

Hi. Is there a manual or something? I click Scripts > Bridges > Daz to 3ds Max, it goes through the conversion process, but then nothing happens. Is there something I'm supposed to do in Max?
The end of my log file reads, "Exported file: C:\TEMP3D\DazToMax.fbx"

What is it you are trying to get to work?
Probably the Daz-to-Max bridge, given that we're in the 3DS Max forum.
Especially given his previous thread, with which the new one has now been merged. Please don't double-post or bump.
Yes, I'm trying to get the Daz-to-Max bridge to work. There doesn't seem to be any documentation on it, and I haven't heard of anyone having success with it yet.
Okay, nm. I figured it out on my own. Still doesn't work though. The materials don't come in properly or translate to Vray properly.
I've been importing Daz into Max/Vray for literally years and years.
It's taken ages of tweaking to get good skin shaders, I doubt you could ever write a script to do that all automatically.
Good news tho, you only ever need to set up your multimaterial once, save it and re-use it.
In your pic it looks like eye surface needs to be set to transparent - try a water shader to start.
The Daz to Max bridge works amazingly well (though it scrolls forever through my thousands of available morphs and expressions and take forever to export...)
Once in the other app, of course there is a lot of work to do, to organize the multi material, set transparent objects such as Eye Moisture to a transparent material according to whatever rendering engine you're using, etc.
The Bridge won't magically configure your scene for Renderman, Redshift, VRay, etc.
Those bridges are ultra welcomed. And very efficient compared to any other script or plugin that existed before that. And they're free !
You end up with a perfect export and a rig fully configured, with morphs available : That's insane.
But yes, of course, you still have to work on it to make it look as good in the other app as it was in DAZ/iRay.
"but then nothing happens" ... it creates a file. This bridge is a cross-platform port that converts 3D Assets, it's not a bridge like GoZ that auto-send the mesh and even opens the app for you. Once you get the mesh converted, you have to open it in Max.

what are the files names i think they are n the wrong folder can find daz to max
i have no daztomax option, daz does the convert and i open max ress x but no daztomax option
There is an issue isntalling with Daz Studio 4.20.0.2 due to the problem with saving UI layouts on a clean system. The Public Build has a fix, or you can see My workspace resets every time I reopen Daz. - Daz 3D Forums
