"For NBC's 'The Blacklist,' animation fills in the episodic gaps after COVID-19 shutdown"
So all those live action gurus, with their fancy drones and green screens and great actors, have to come to the animators when the going gets tough.
(Just kidding, some of my best friends at the 48 Hour Contest are live action guys. In fact, almost all of them ...)

the way of the future ?
Fascinating. Thanks for the link.
You're quite welcome. I find this particularly interesting:
"The show shipped microphones to cast members, who recorded their scenes on iPhones from 'pantries and linen closets, with pillows under the doors, trying to get the best-quality audio at home ... ' "
I have spent time in my car with my digital camera, recording dialogue for 48 Hour Film contest animations. Its a good place for minimal ambient sound and echoes.
