Stellar Animation in Bryce 3D

Initially in Bryce 3D animation of starry sky is impossible - stars do not move and can not appear / disappear.

But I have completed six processes of rendering of the basic sky in the Bryce and these images was texturing the cube (cube was assembled from squares and each square was textured separately - so that they could cross together in seamless pattern correct sky-map)

This cube can rotate like the real starry sky

Very nice animation, and idea, Carry - thanks also for the Br 7 file.

Lolz! I have one of those skyboxes too but it keeps repeating the same shows! Clearly it's broken!

@Carry: Those are very nice animations. Simple in content, yet very effective. Thanks for the scene.

    Amazingly good videos:)

I can only boggle at the amount of work done and the render time this must take!

Very nice animation work. Having been heavily into filmmaking earlier in my life, I always loved animations but never did much with them and to this day I regret that. ( Having computers and programs like Bryce and DAZ Studio, etc. back 40 years ago would have been an incredible resource in the day )

Impressive work and I look forward to seeing some more of your animations using Bryce...

Just popping in - Nice animations, Carry. But I'm wondering: why do you think a skybox is needed for moving stars?

Bryce's native starscape is able to be animated. I must be missing something - Is the starscape broken in Bryce 7.?

Yes, very nice animation and music, too.

Why did you use a cube instead of mapping the stars on a dome or inside of a sphere?

Bryce’s native starscape is able to be animated.
....didn't know that.....will check it out.

Nice work. I noticed on the first one you have actual real stars.
If I'm not mistaken Orion comes up over the horizon right at the beginning.
