Morphing Clothes to drape over furniture or blow in the wind or whatever ... response to a request in the forums.
Covers a couple of ways to make and save some morphs.

    You're welcome.

    I know some other programs can make beautiful 'drapes' ... Blender and Poser come to mind ... AFAIK the morphing actions between D/S and Hexagon are the best; however, if one could say, drape the clothing in one program and export out the .obj file and then swap out the .obj in Hexagon [which has to have been sent to it via the bridge from D/S] ... IF, IF, IF it'll make the morph that would be kool. I haven't tried this [yet] [and I don't use Blender] so I don't know if indeed it would work. Both Poser and D/S tend to "do things" to direct .obj exports sometimes making them impossible to morph. That's why the bridge is so vital.

    Actually Patience decided to pull her stuff 'til after the holidays just in case there's any truth to the multitude of rumors of my imminent departure are true ;-) Don't like stuff left in limbo. So far am still here and very much alive.

    Thank you, me too :-) So far looks like another "close pass" ... has our weather ever been strange these days. Forecasters nightmare. Apparently even the city was taken by surprize. They had the street sweepers out to clean the road gutters ... in the middle of the rain/snow/sleet/rain/snow/rain/hail or sleet/rain/snow/etc storm.

    There was supposed to be a fantastic "blood moon" ecplise ... hope somebody got some decent pictures. We got .... rain/snow/sleet/rain/etc ... lots of cloud cover. The "it was a dark and stormy night" would have been a suitable opening throughout the day today. "It was a dark and stormy day" ... thankfully not too cold though. Nothing staying and the path I traveled was not slippery.

    Passed some time looking at photos of what's coming ... one should not do that before retiring for the night.
    And I've also been working on a remake of a bridge for ST. Great hobby like "cleaning closets" for thinking matters out. Today's wonderful brainstorm was, as it refers in many places to some people as "prisoners of Earth" ... and some people are seeking to launch out into space to live elsewhere [we are close to nowhere guys, forget it], I was pondering what the penalty or penalties might be for prisoners trying to leave the Earth.

    So while waiting for clearance, here are a couple of renders ... I'm not the greatest renderer ... but yeah! I'm no longer the worst either :-)

    When I get back to the tutorials [somewhere in a safe place] ... I'm also planning to write up another one for legacy clothing items. IF the weld thingie was fixed. If it wasn't, then I'm sticking to D/S3 for those. I'm not running the most up-to-date D/S4.x because much as I might want to ... fixing 3D programs seems to be like fixing the plumbing. Fix one leak, another one breaks. So far the edition I am working with suits my needs so I content with that. I know we tend to rant and rave about negative things at times, but all in all, these are really fantastic programs. Who'd imagine when we were 10, what we could be doing now! We didn't even have computers. In mid-grades we were told that IF a computer was made, it would have to be as large as the Empire State Building or some such ... now they can make them of a size that fits into the palm of a hand. Incredible leaps of technology.

    I'm happy to hear your demise was not immanent but I wonder why you plan to pull all your content when it is so. I myself will leave what I have managed to share out there for others to enjoy. Sort of a legacy if you will. Once I'm gone it will not matter very much to me how my stuff is used by others. Just my View, I respect the view of all others so you do what is right for you. I just wonder is all.

    'cause alot of my stuff tends to be "fanart" and "just in case" any copyright holders change their views on matters, figured it best this way.
    Might change my mind on the matter if/when I find a better "home" to upload them to.

    Ah yes the Fan Art side of it. I see the point now, for that stuff. But your tuts are pretty universal for the most part. That was what I was thinking of in my post.
