Vyusur Janna etc in Carrara

Having problems with workflow to get Janna's brows to follow a custom morph for Janna's face.

1) Converted Janna to blended and saved as support asset

2) Converted brows to blended and saved as support asset

3) Used modeler to make a morph for blended Janna  (saved morph as asset and then saved morphed figure as support asset)

4) Loaded blended Janna with face morph in Carrara but morph dialed to 0

5) Loaded blended brows for Janna.  Used FIT TO on brows for Janna blended

6) Dialed Janna blended face morph to 1.  Brows did not follow a projected morph

Janna blended with custom face morph dialed to 1.  See outside halves of brows disappear.

In order for your new morph to work with brows you can do the following steps.

Fit the brows in DS, dial up your morph with brows on.
Turn of Janna's visibility in scene pane.
Export the brows to obj in base resolution.
Load the new brows in empty scene, load your obj as a morph.
Save your brow morph to the brows folder.
Then you would be able to apply your morph to fit Janns's new form after fitting them in Carrara.

BTW, nice witchy morph.

woe, they took down the Janna walk cycle demo video.  instead its some stoopid dforce thing.

was trying to figure out if it was an animates converted to janna?  was it custom walk cycle?

I'm affraid, I didn't understand your comment about video. I used the walk cycle for Genesis 8 Female. It's completely compatible with Janna:

thought i remembered the product page for Janna with a walk cycle clip on the page.  the video clip on Janna product page is now a dforce ad.

Veronika - thanks.  I wonder if the morph I created wasn't saved to the correct data location by morph loader.  In any case, should be able to address.  And thanks for the kind comment about the witch face.  I should note that the brow follows my facial morph in Studio, but not Carrara.  Maybe I needed to save the blended fiber mesh brows as a wearable preset instead of new support asset?

Misty - yes, Janna has some facial bones, including for the brows.  Have to fix my morph load before I can test the facial bones, though.

Ted, of course, the brows have to be blended version with morphs. It's up to you to save morph separately or the whole figure with morph. Honestly I use scene subset save option pretty rare. Usually I save the figure as support asset.

not that anyone needs it.  would just be a convenience.

any plans to release a merchant resource skin?

Hi! This kind of products would be rejected because of low commercial value. I don't have enough health and energy for products that don't have commercial value. I'm affraid, I can't help you with merchant skin. But you can make Carrara presets without any skin at all. As for sci-fi bodysuit, I'll put it on my schedule.

If someone interested in, I've just uploaded G8 clones for Leon and Teena into freestuff section on Rendo. As I mentioned before, these are not perfect for footwear.

which meant demoting TY2.  i feel bad, but Terai Yuki not sulking.  lol

sweet... would be awesome if there was a G or G2 one as well... just thinking outside the box 

For footwear I found saving as a subset ( in DS ) then loading into Carrara has worked so far.

Thanks, had a fill light (bulb) and a key light (Distant) in front, along with 2 rim lights (bulbs) at the back, in retrospect should have used a spot light on Leon to brighten him up a bit.

Have not used a plane light in Carrara before, will have to give it a go !
