Based on the apparent success of the G8M version, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on ASE for G8F while it's on sale. Any ETA on the G8F version of AME?
I will be submitting it next week 19-or 20 if all is well.
Yeah! But I am still playing with the G8M version. What will I do?
This is good news...I look forward to buying the G8F version...It's exactly what I'm after......
Thank you...
Indeed, thank you. Hope DAZ doesn't dawdle with it too much.
Excellent! I can't wait to get my hands on this!
Having more fun with AME/ASE. Cartoonized Maxx with other morphs, AME, and ASE dialed in.
Dakota - Toon Carnival Strong Man
(Edit: Added second render)
Lee
Toon Dad.
They look great guys! Lee, I know this is cartooney (cartoony?) but you might want to try turning the ASE on the elbow down just a little bit. Unless of course that was the look you were going for. It looks great. I am currently doing a character study on my Scott Mainz figure experimenting with different variables to see what comes out. Will post later.
Thank you, Sigurd! I did notice the pointy elbows when setting up this and other characters. I will try your suggestion about toning down the ASE elbow setting and see what happens. Thank you for the awesome suggestion!
Can't wait to see your experiments with Scott Mainz. It's always a treat to see what you and others come up with!
Lee
Lee, I am glad you took the suggestion in the spirit it was given. I have been playing with different muscle definition and SubD levels to see the relative pros and cons in order to optimize the aesthetics. Here is one particular character with AME Body 75%, AME Flex 90%, Muscle Definition Variable, AME Lower Body 25%, AME V Back 25%. All of these happen to be at SubD 2. Look at the pics for the various details. I do plan on making a modified version of this character with the AME Body dialed down a little for a slightly less extreme version. Let me know what you think. Appreciate all comments.
Does the veins dial give the same look regardless of pose? It's not natural for veins to pop like that in a relax pose for someone looks that young and healthy.
Anxiously anticipating it's release! Any way you'll do a bundle?
A bundle would be absolutely terrific...I'd buy it immediately...
Hi Sigurd! I always enjoy getting suggestions and yours was very helpful. I have started turning down the elbows and neck ASE dials a bit when setting up a figure, then dial them up/down as the pose demands. I love AME and ASE and have enjoyed applying them to almost all the figures in my library.
It's great to see how the different settings draw out the details in your figure. Such wonderful examples of a great figure that you've put together. The physique that you're creating is terrific -- great combination of musculature, bulk, and proportions.
Lee
After much experimentation with Herr Mainz, I have finally decided on two variations. This is the slightly bulkier version. I will post the less bulkier version later. He has been fun to work with. It is amazing how slight changes can transform a character. All thanks to DMaster for creating this product. I plan on doing other body types later. All suggestions and comments are welcome.
@sigurd Thanks for sharing the results of your awesome character study. Extremely helpful in seeing the effects of AME.
More blending AME and ASE with Cartoonized. This time I used (mostly) Ward/Vladimir for the base figure. Smaller adjustments with various shaping morphs and a little Ade figure added to the head.
In some poses, this mixture reminded me of a toon boxer.
Lee
Wow! He looks real good. Very pleasing to look at.
Thank you, Sigurd! I can't stop playing with AME and ASE. They wonderfully add a little or a lot of musculature and proper flexing to my G8M characters. So thankful for these products. Also, I'm fond of creating stylized characters, so adding Cartoonized into my AME/ASE workflow has made this easy.
Here's an earlier view of the Toon Fighter/Boxer guy...
Lee
Is there any news on the G8F version, Zevo..?
Wrong person lol.
WOW. Zev0. That just put me really close to you. Best felling ever seing this post.
Personal issue at homefront. Just have to have some time to package this.
She is nice and smooth rough on the edges if you dial it in correctly. I am very happy with her.
Oops..apologies, DMaster...
I purchased you Auto Shape Enhancer for G8F last night...I know that it will be required for the G8F muscle software...looking forward to buying that, too...
Been busy the last few days on webinars and have not had time to post. Here is one of an old character updated with AME.
These look absolutely spectacular. You can really feel the character's personality coming through.
Thank you for the kind words Uthgard. Sometimes I start on a Character with a particular end goal in mind and he/she ends up veering off in a totally different direction.
I agree with Uthgard on your newest renders, Sigurd. Another stunning character study. I really like this one (and all the one's before him.)
Lee
Thanks Lee. He is definitely a Bruiser. I plan on doing a slightly less 'jacked' version to represent the same Character later in life.
