First i like to say that i liket your 3D product

To Mr.Allen Renfeldt i like to thank you for you
Videos tutorials they help me a lot thanks

i have a questions to you or for you
I am looking for a solution to this problem
Often happens that a dress does not follow the leg (Pic 1)

I have followed tutorials / Videos for hours
Tranfer Utility, Weight Mapping, Triax Weight Mapping,
Reverse Source Target, Smoothing Modeifier
Back and Forth to Genesis and V4
Et cetera so an and so forth


Note : I want to use it on V4.2 NOT ON Genesis
My questions is
1)-How to get a dress to follow the legs ON V4
2)-How to save that dress to cr2 so i can use it again
3)-How to stop Smoothing Modeifier and keep the modifications in the dress an save it

    Is this skirt designed for V4?

    It looks from your images that it has 'handles' which are used for posing the skirt in extreme poses. Dresses and skirts are a problem in sitting or extreme poses, and they usually have handles supplied for posing them.

    Have you tried using them?

    The only other thing I can think of for the moment, is to send it over to Hexagon using the bridge, and posing the skirt yourself. On return to DS4, a morph will be created using Morph Loader that you can use again.

    When you get your clothing item to fit properly, the easiest way is to save as a scene file, and you can later merge that with any other scene file.

    Thanks for you responding

    i know the handles but the thing is that lately i try to do some of animation
    and the legs move but not the dress


    Most of the 3D couturiers they make their clothes snap on right away


    I only have to right click Transfer Active Morphs "et voilà"
    But some clothes dont
    So i was wondering if i could do that uses for existing clothes
    i read is somthing to do with conforming clothes
    Adding thigh bones to a dress so the dress moves with the leg
    So you see my problem


    I am try to understand the Rigging Modification Joint Editor Videos
    By Mr.Allen Renfeldt but i find it very difficult but i think
    the videos are not meant for beginners
    well,I keep on trying

    You need to adjust the handles as you animate, they won't update as the figure moves.

    I think i made a mistake placing the photo of the handles
    example to this theys dresses dont have handles

    You see Sir the thing is not about the handles i know of the handles an so
    What would i like to know to make the not conforming clothes to conforming clothes

    The short answer is use the Joint Editor tool to add new bones to the hip of the dress, copying the centre and endpoint values from V4, and then adjust the falloff angles and spheres to get the results you need. But you need to be aware that this will not be simple, especially on longer skirts where it will be very hard to avoid a bump in the middle when both legs bend. Items without handles, assuming there aren't any at all (they may be in the scene pane without having visible mesh in the viewport), will usually rely on morphs in the hip - controls will be on the root too, in most cases.
