UV Maps dsf to png...is it possible?

Hello,
I would like to make some textures. I know how to SEE the UV Mapping, but how do I save it to a bmp or png file so I can create textures with ps?

You need to use a third-party tool, such as UV Mapper Classic, to export a template.
Carrara does this natively, but it's not free - I think UV Mapper Classic is...
Most products here offer templates in those funny extra tabs on the bottom of their sales pages.
I imagine Hexagon does it, too, and it is also free - but I've not looked into that.
Yes, Hex does it. When in UV map view, there is a camera icon at the bottom which will open a save UV map dialog box.
Thank you all.
