Hi there,
I'm pleased to announce that my 2nd product is currently in Daz's hands, making its way through QA.
Every good action story needs a bar fight, and now here's a bar ready for fighting!
Tornado Bar: Fight Bar is a pub / bar environment with many props for your characters to have a good old bar fight in.
It includes:
- the interior environment
- a basic facade exterior for establishing shots,
- beer glass (with liquid height morphs),
- breakable beer glass (with smash morph),
- beer/rum/vodka/whisky bottles- each with liquid height morphs and breakable versions (2 smash morphs each),
- breakable furniture (comes in prop pieces for ultimate customisation but also has pose-presets to save you time)
- Breakable windows for the front doors (total of 6 morphs - 3 breaking inside, 3 outside)
- All doors are rigged (except the metal roll-door on the facade exterior) - there's nothing behind interior doors but you can easily add another toilet/back-room environment there.
- Rigged beer pump (no liquid but the switch moves) and rigged cash-register
- Mirror behind the bar breaks (2 morphs)
- Probably other things I'm forgetting - see pictures for examples (Edit: Oh, yeah, and the beer fridge - comes stocked with beer!)
Hope you like it

Awesome idea! Breakaway props and sets are hard enough to find seperately, so a single product that includes both shouId be a big hit (pun not intended.) I imagine that a lot of us will snap this up as soon as it hits the store, myself included. ;)
Thanks Cybersox :) (and I'll take that pun, lol)
Looks really nice- hope it sells well for you! :)
Cheers Novica :)
How did you get access to the 'things I didn't know I needed' list in my brain?
One of the best ideas I have seen in a long time! Reminds me of my Bouncer days at the University!
Now I also need a breakable bathroom for scenes like the James Bond fight (Casino Royale).
There are doors to the toilets. Are toilets also included?
Cheers :)
sounds like you had an exciting time at uni, lol.
Sorry, no, that would take too long and add too much to the price - but I figured that (a) there were already lots of toilet sets, (b) people would expect to at least see doors to the toilets in a bar/pub, and (c) if I make the doors rigged then it's easy enough to use (a). Same for the back 'Employees Only' door.
If the set does well, I might do addons with a back room / toilets with breakable props but for now you'd need to improvise.
I'll add it to the rapidly growing 'to-do' list ;)
Just start watching old Jackie Chan and Buster Keaton movies. Those two are the undisputed masters when it comes to fights and stunts involving props and set pieces.
Did take a chair across the back once. They do not break as easily as it looks in the movies. The thing to remember is that defensive weapons are all around you, you just have to know where to look.
I'm well acquainted with the Jackie Chan classics (I think I've seen nearly all of his movies, old and new - and that's a lot of movies ). I'm only familiar with Buster Keaton from clips here and there but I know he was an inspiration for Jackie.
Oh I know, but some people like the OTT movie action (me included ) - with this set you can break them as much or as little as you like (within reason - they don't pulverise or anything but the pieces you see in the promos are individual props). It's more likely that something will break at a join if at all, and then only one piece will break off, but here you have all the options.
Back when I was studying martial arts (before life made me all busy and stuff lol) I used to make a game of sussing out the weapons available around me... and the exits. I'd sit facing the room with my back to a wall - always with a view to spotting and avoiding potential danger.
My father was an unarmed combat instructor in the Army Special Forces before the war, a Paratrooper during the war, and then a Narcotics Agent for over 30 years after the war. Starting when I was a kid, everytime we would go out somewhere he would quiz me about the exits, likely threats, and improvised weapons. I thought it was a little overkill at the time (no pun intended) but it kept me in one piece on more than a couple of occasions as an adult. Thanks Father!
It makes me laugh when I am watching a movie and the protagonist is in a furnished room with a hostile trying to break down the door and they don't grab a chair or anything in the room to use as a weapon. This set of yours looks like it contains a veritable plethora of improvised weapons. I look forward to making use of it sometime in the future.
Happy to announce that this has now been released:

Looks great my friend just what we needed !
great set
Congrats Silent Winter! a good addition to the store with a unique twist
Thanks all
Neat stuff. There was a recent superhero (I think) movie with an underground entrance just like this, where not surprisingly all hell breaks loose, but I forget which one it was.
I personally took inspiration for that litte detail from Alita: Battle Angel (the rest of the bar is nothing like the 'Kansas Bar' in that movie, just the fact that it's stairs down into the bar), (though that's a cool bar too). Great movie too - check it out if you havent seen it :)
That's the one. I guess I wasn't too far off.

^Yay, glad you like it - I'd love to see what you end up designing for the GN cover (if you're allowed to share it here that is) :)

I'll post the cover of Shattered once it's done but it's two books away in my series.
OK, I'll be patient - looking forward to it :)
