SciFi Fanart - props, cr2, rigging tutorial

There shall be [we hope] many parts ... and then I'll repack them into a .cr2 file so people can have the option for loading the entire set, or just bits 'n pieces.

Part One - Beam with 3 Lights Updated - has new link.

This set is aka The Officers' Lounge which was first made by MBruffy. With his permission I've been remaking it.

The .pp2 files were created in PP2012 and hopefully work in most of the staging programs.
The .duf files were created in D/S4.6.1.33 and hopefully work in D/S4.x

If one mixes 'n matches Poser and D/S files, some minor re-positioning may be required.

    For those wanting the plain geometries - those will all be made available when the .cr2 is released as it uses them ;-)

    Don't panic ... in the workflow for creating all these props, I missed that the prop's materials had been renamed by the utility which carried over into the .duf files. Am correcting that and zips will be replaced "s**n" ;-)

    Sometime this weekend the entire set should be available.

    Updates are uploaded - couldn't swap out the zips like the uploader gadget suggests one could so we have new links.

    The .pp2 files [hopefully] work in D/S3+ and Poser 7+.
    The .duf files were made in an older D/S4.6, hopefully work in D/S4.5+
    Templates included.
    Some props may require smoothing adjustments and/or minor re-positioning.

    As some are acquiring Poser 10 this month, I've included a couple of "where to find" pics ...

    The seventh [final] part has been uploaded now.

    For those not familiar with my work, no it is not likely to remain available 'forever' ... so if you want it, download it sooner rather than later.

    While making a .cr2 file for the entire set, I have also been making some images for a tutorial on how to get a basic legacy rigging set up using D/S4.x. It'll be in .pdf form and uploaded to DA in a .zip so it doesn't start trying to load and open in people's browsers before they even know what's on the page! While I love ComicLife's ease of use for making these, they do tend to be large files.

    n.b. some parts in Poser are invisible until rendered. sigh ...

    Also in the geometry folder is a readme clarifying exactly which one file must be kept for the .cr2 to work. The rest are all the other parts which eventually made the props. For smaller unit sets, one can import only the geometry they want into Hexagon [or similar] and export out one .obj file to rig in D/S. How to info is in the tutorial.
