So is this going to be LIE, overlay, or something else altogether?

An advanced technique of using overlay... I haven't seen any usage of it before.

  • Are there options to change the shape of each element?

I've been wanting to create Jeanette Voerman, from the 'Vampire The Masquarade: Bloodlines' computer game, but haven't seen her 'spidery tears mascara' cosmetics look available since the Genesis 2 era. If this allows me to create that, it would be marvellous.

    Appears highly useful, regardless!

Can't seem to click on the image to enlarge it. I was wondering whether the insets were screenshots of the surfaces panel?

The ability to create our own shapes would be nice, as would the ability to fade/gradient the colour. I prefer to see lipstck faded towards the edges rather than a razor sharp line, for example. I assume this uses opacity masks?

BTW, what is overlay as opposed to LIE? Is it the diffuse overlay weight in the Surfaces panel? If so, I haven't has a lot of luck with that but I am probably not doing it right.

This set is created for casual needs but I'm working right now on the more specific set include such as you indicated.

As you can see, if you have this set you will no longer need any casual makeup sets.

    I'm glad you liked :)

  • Hello, this product is fantastic in the sense that is has indeed infinite possibilities color wise. If i may make some suggetsions?

-if possible allow coloring one eyelid one color and the other different

    -allow same for lips

-make it easier to access the color panel, i cant get the wheel to work if there is one and i go through surfaces tab which is nightmare to find the correct tab and time consuming

-finally add some more morphs for eyeshadows

Thank you for this awesome product!

Just bought this, but can't seem to get the lips to "work" - don't know if it's anything to do with it being labeled as "Material" rather than "Layered"?

Also, as far as I can make out, you can't put one layer on top of another for the eye shadow, so you can only have one solid colour, which is a bit limited for eye shadow!

I'd agree that it would be really helpful to have better instructions!

On the lips, are you rendering? If they are usign Diffuse Overlay they won't show in the preview.

For eyeshadows, you could make your own mask images to use in place of those from the set and apply them to the upper layer in the Layered Image Editor after applying the preset - although a script could potentially swap out masks to do it with presets would require a different preset for each mask/colour combination, which would be unwieldy.

um..I'm trying to apply eyeshadow and then eyeliner. the eyeliner thingy shows up in the face diffuse overlay LIE. Eyeshadow doesn't?
