Has anyone tried dressing her up with the Centaur outfits, like this one? https://www.daz3d.com/centaur-grove-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-centaur (There were other ones for the Centaur 7 where it was a cloth or skirt for the animal half.)

Yes I did try that particular top, and it does not fit the hips without a lot of reshaping. You need a top that goes no lower than the upper abdomen unless you're happy to modify things..

  • Definitely want this! And would love to see Midnight_Stories do a Solar Wardens for this!! That would really rock for some alien settings!
  • I honestly squealed when I saw this in the store today, I can not WAIT to make some driders!

  • Thank you!  This is the stuff that I live for!  I don't know if you saw my old post asking for these type of models to be made, but you nailed the first one that I asked for!  I figured I'd put the others that I said in that post on here.  What I really like is the female monsters (Josh Crockett gets a lot of the male ones done well).  But, if this model here is any indication for what you can do, then, I am excited and happy to purchase this and any others you do in the same vein!  Male and female would be awesome, but I am really happy to see a female monster.  Anyway, the list that I mentioned in that other thread was:

Spider Humanoid Monster (think WoW Nerubian)
    Mantis Humanoid Monster
    Cockroach Humanoid Monster
    Fly Humanoid Monster

Mushroom Monsters (lots of things you could do with this one going from more mushroom to "The Last of Us" infected type things)
Plant/Pod People (Pretty much the same, with plant tendrils and vines coming out of people's head, eyes, mouth and such)

Octopus (Like Dungeons and Dragon's Mind Flayers)
    Crab Humanoid
    Lobster Humanoid
    Fish Humanoid

    Slime people

    Harpy

    Alligator
Snake (like Snake Men from Master of the Universe)

Just seems like there could be so much!  Dungeons and Dragons has an almost limitless number of things to also inspire or pull from, but I think humanoids like this using G8F are probably the easiest to do.  And there are, occasionally some like this from the older Daz models that just can't compared to what we can make today, obviously.  So, best of luck and I am buying your model as we speak!  Thank you very much for this!

  • I wanted to see what the body would look like on a preexisting character. It required me to edit the torso skin (have it set to darker blend mode over top your skin worked for me) and copy / paste the surfaces to the existing character then add in the proper torso / face, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! Just a simple render for testing.

One of your character is on my list ;)

The only Solar Warden reference I can find is what Gary McKinnon allegedly hacked into and found on US military computers. What else do you mean?

they're referring to thisoutfit on Centaur 8 https://www.daz3d.com/solar-wardens-for-genesis-8-male-centaur

Solar Wardens for Genesis 8 Male Centaur in Vendor, midnight_stories, 3D Models by Daz 3D

Midnight also has version for normal G8 males and females

  • Ah! That explains it! Wish that outfit set had the visor come down and seal over the head.

  • That would be a scary good addition!
