how to drape fabrics fall nicely...

hello everybody...

i am looking for a way to create some sort of drapery to make stilllifes look good...
is there a way in bryce or daz or scuptris to get an obj or something else that i can use as a drapground for my objects?

    Terrains are useful for all sorts of things

    @mail-039 - as chohole says, terrains. This old example shows it, too. Curtains and water are terrains.

    I've only tinkered a little with Bryce so far, but this really caught my interest - I can see how you might have done the curtains, but how on earth can you use a terrain to do that water?

    In much the same way as I made my skywriting I would think

    Draw a line in the TE Canvas that looks like a curtain from above, the folds and such, just like chohole drew her name. Move up the lower part of the curly bracket until the black gets a bit red. Accept this terrain. Then just stretch that terrain vertically.
