Using Mirye Models in Poser Or Carrara, and a Freebie

I have a collection of Mirye models that I like, but I find them hard to use in Carrara. Even the "Poser Versions" seem to lack the ability to hide walls, etc. to get good camera angles. Am I missing something?

I haven't tried this one yet, but I'm guessing it has the same difficulty.
