first place Was Sean Reisch with Van Pyres Halloween #17
second Place was Lord Ganthor with Autumn Witch #1
3rd Place was adbc with Creepy Castle #3

Best Bryce New User was goofygrmom3 with Witching Hour at the Ruins #20

Was a difficult contest to judge. Almost everyone got at least some votes and I had lots of ties till I brought in an extra guest judge to sort it out.

    Well done every one

Sean I need you to work out a them for the mid November to end of December Challenge Please.

adbc and goofygrmom3 I need your Daz account email addy please so I can get store credit added to your accounts by the daz gift fairy. Thanks

Thank you for the honor. Considering that piece, Autumn Witch, didn't turn out exactly like I thought and took forever to render, I'm sort of surprised that it even placed! I'm my own worst critic...

Congratulations to all the winners and to everybody who entered. There was a lot of outstanding work displayed here and everybody should be very proud of their pieces.

    Thanks, and good job everybody.
Hmm. ok, since winter is rapidly approaching (at least in my corner of the world) how about "frozen" for a theme? (That also leaves it open for non-winter subjects with a bit of creativity if winter just isn't your thing.)

Yey! well done everyone... some great entries. We still need more though... spread the word! :)

Well I have decided to spread the prizes next time, so hopefully that will encourage more entries.

The amounts that I started the challenge with will now be spread out more, so the Daz Gift cert amounts will stand for the first threa polaces, and the amount I set aside for prizes will now be awwarded to runners up (or Honourable mentions if you prefer) so next month there will be 6 prizes to aim for, not 3, plus there will still be the prize for best New Bryce User.

    How does that sound

So the prize list will then read

    1st $30
    2nd $20
    3rd $15
    HM 1 $15
    HM 2 $10
    HM 3 $10

    Best New Brycer $20(from Jaderail)+ $10 from DAZ 3D so $30

    What do you all think?

When I added up the points awarded this time I had votes for the majority of entries, I had several ties to sort out and had to invite 2 guest judges to help out, to get some sort on sense into the winners list, so more prizes will make my job easier.
