Hi. I am a very very old user of Bryce. I am searching for restart to use it. I am working on a project and I would like to use Bryce to re-create a real place in 3D. This is a real port in my country. I want to recreate the real port with the real map elevation to manipulate it and show it in a video. After the recreation of the real port and the map elevation on the sea I would like to insert some buildings. The progect is, in other words, a video with the new buildings in the old village on the sea. I am searching to have Bryce and the elevation maps plugin. Some suggestion please?

gianlucabrizi - sounds like a great project. Bryce can import DEMs (digital elevation map) of you find one of the region you need. Bryce also takes 16 bit greyscale maps directly into the TE (terrain editor). Here is a place where you can try to get what you need (free): http://terrain.party/ and also look at this thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/883102. The resolution is not excellent but often good enough. You can also try http://edcdaac.usgs.gov/gtopo30/gtopo30.asp to get your landscape data. You may need the 3DEM program, which is free if you still can find it. If this is the case, I have a PDF on my website that explains how you go about it: https://horo.ch/docs/mine/pdf/3DEM-Terrains.pdf
Many thanks. I will study the project with Bryce. The second step is to insert buildings. And the study upon it will ends. After that I will start to create.
