My first (well, six) venture into dress making...

Hello all,

So I decided to throw my hat into the clothing making circus (and hope to become a vendor not too shortly). Though, feedback always helps when starting a new trade. So the past couple of days I’ve been making garments to test things out and could use some feedback. 

Below are six outfits with the same style (simple above the knee dress with gathered ruffles around the sleeves, neck, and bottom). I didn’t create the textures, just the garments. 

So any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

    I quite like these.  I especially love the draping of the back of the dress.  Really nice!

    It looks pretty good given the size of the images.  What I'd like to see - what's very rare in a lot of clothing - is making it look real in closeups.  The thickness of the fabric, hems, seams, binding and so on.  A lot of it sees to be moving towards a sheet that you use dForce on.  Move towards realism and you hook me.

    Add some thickness to the item and it will look more realistic. I started making clothes that were just thin but people started to tell me they preferred a bit of thickness around necks, sleeves, armholes etc.

    I like the draping back!

    The first 5 versions all have "armpit ruffles", which I don't think is a thing :)
