Update: Problem with deleting properties

Currently I am working at an aqualung for Genesis. I have created several dials for posing the regulator- and console-hoses.
Then I decided to rename two of those. Next time I loaded the aqualung into the scene I got the warning message shown in the screenshot below, and the renamed dial was duplicated (see marked items in the other screenshot). Now I have got dials with the new and the old name. I have tried to delete the ones with the old names in both the properties editor and hierarchy. Then I saved the aqualung. But next time I loaded it, the message appeared again and the deleted items were there again. I can't get rid of them!
Update: I think I found the solution. I probably messed it up during the development process. When I deleted the .dsf-file in the data-section the message dissapeared and the original dials were shown up again. This time I could change the names, save the changes and everything was okay.
