I am redoing the listing of my tutorials and freebies index from the old site. These links will still point to the old site even though images are not (yet) viewable there. If you need to view a specific image (and you likely will) you'll need to change the

postimages/origimage_1_3096345.png
to read
http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/postimages/origimage_1_3096345.png
and then past that new URL in a new window/tab of your browser (obviously substituting the appropriate image name).

    Thanks Adam. And thanks for the way to get images to show. Really hope DAZ does make them all inline again.... I see the avatars and emoticons live in the archive so looks like there is something being worked on there! :-)

    I came to see if your "Clear Undo Stack Script" was updated yet, and then I had an idea;
    .
    I request that DAZ grants an all expense paid trip for you and Richard H and Casual and DeltaX, all to come to the DAZ headquarters and work with them a bit.

    Nope, not yet. I did just get my hands on the SDK so possibly soonish(DAZ TM). I haven't had a lot of time to dig into it with everything else that's going on.

    Adam,
    For some reason I only see the "Petite Gen AMR" Dial after I installed your proportions to my content library, I loaded them all in, but that's the only one that shows up.
    I'm using the most recent version of Studio 4.5 RC2. Is there any way to point Studio in the right direction if doesn't pick them up?

    That's very odd. I've loaded both the DUF and DSF version of Genesis and they all still show up for me.


    Please look in ~\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base\Morphs\adamr001\Proportions Gn AMR\ and verify that all the appropriate DSF files are shown.


    ETA: where ~ = the location of your genesis runtime (most likely your user directory\DAZ 3D\Studio4\MyLibrary).

    I double-checked to make sure. They are all there and in the correct folder, but when I open Studio I only get the slider for petite.
    Would it make any difference if I put them in a different sub-folder?

    Are you looking on the shaping tab or the parameters tab? Try parameters, I understand there are some issues with the Shaping tab in 4.5.x release.

    That was it! I checked the parameters tab and they were all there.
    Strange, but I'll take it, it beats not having them at all.

    Great, I'm glad I remembered that issue. ^_^ Personally, I always use the parameters tab so that's why it never occurred to me.

    I agree, once I started using it that way, the parameters tab seems a lot more powerful by itself than the individual shaping and posing tabs. You've made a convert out of me.

    Just want to add my thanks for that Uberenvironment tutorial (wish I'd seen it last year!). I've just worked my way through it and suddenly Uberenvironment makes a lot more sense - as does why I never got a decent render out of it before!

    Hey Adam,

    Wondering if you remember what thread the tutorial is for repairing unwanted morphed body parts by replacing them with original Genesis shape? It was, iirc, one that Richard H offered up where you import Genesis into ZBrush along with the morphed version and somehow work it out that way. There have been so many threads that I can't remember and really need to learn this at this point. THANKS!
