With sriesch's idea you could use Lynne's goose http://www.lynescreations.com/lynefree12.htm and one of these keys https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/skeleton-keys/70106 to make your mechanical goose.
Hey, I am looking for throwing knives, similar to this design...
https://www.amazon.com/Avias-Supply-Stainless-Throwing-Sheath/dp/B019VOJ10A/ref=sr_1_2?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1499816736&sr=1-2&keywords=black+widow+throwing+knives
I looked all over as far I can find but there doesn't seem to be anything like them around, unless I'm not looking in the right spot.
Not exactly, but similar:

I have plenty of kunai, but the second link will most definitely do. :) Thanks!!
Can anyone maybe remember free characters for Kids 4 which was offered in the now gone RuntimeDNA free stuff section. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the character(s) or creator. If I am not mistaken it was one of the last items which was offered before RDNA went down. I think it was at the time when the Rascal CK2 freebie was offered for Creepy Kid 2 but not sure. If I can remember the name I will most probably find it on my disks as I am sure I have downloaded it. I have tried searching via wayback machine but not so easy.
Would it be this one? Lil' Monsters -ElfyKin K4

The only K4 character I remember downloading from the freebie section on RDNA is Clara, which can be found here https://web.archive.org/web/20161027203212/http://www.anat.creativedreamers.com/freestuff.htm.
Yes, thank you ... it seems that is the one I was thinking of.
I cannot use the free LAMH player plug in . It, and the regular LAMH, requires a 64 bit system. My computer is only a 32 bit system. I need a better option that is compatible with my system.
Did you read my whole post? I also suggested the Furify shader and that doesn't require 64 bit.
Yes, I did. I need something free.
LAMH should be available in 32-bit as well, the Player at least is. This fur shader is rather old, but it's free: http://www.sharecg.com/v/36638/browse/6/Texture/Fuzzy-Wuzzy-Fur-Shader-Daz-Studio
So Tramp I have a solution for you but not sure you will find it satisfactory. But here is what I would do if I had the constraints you have indicated. Must be free and has to run on 32 bit. Be warned that the direction of the displacement is always with the direction of the normals for each of the faces. No angling down or up like normal hair will do.
The below image demonstrates what the result of this method will look like on a complex geometry (G2F) and a simple geometry (sphere), using 3Delight as the render engine. It is wise to use an Uber or Age of Armour light set to get the best effect from the shader. I would also use gamma correction to get more realism in the fur.
So I am using mmalbert's (RedeyedCat) Plushie shader https://redeyecat.wordpress.com/2013/06/20/rec-plushie-shaders-for-ds-3-1/ and this set of fur textures https://www.sharecg.com/v/6621/view/6/Texture/fur-rabbit-bear on a geo shell made from G2F. The sphere has the shader applied directly on its surface. I used the OMG preset but then went into the Displacement parameter and set it to 200%. I am using a geo shell because I know that you want to cover parts of the hands and head and to do this you will need this extra surface to allow you to have fur on parts of one surface. DAZ can't split a surface into two except through the use of reassignment of faces which in this case would not give a very nice line along the edges of where you want fur and where you don't. So the best solution is to create a geo shell (Create->New Geometry Shell..) . Then using the templates of the figure you are using you can create a trans map that will uncover on the geo shell those areas such as the nose or inside the nose that you do not want to have the hair showing up.
And below is the transmap I did for her face.
Yeah, I have both of those shaders. They won't work for my purposes, I need full body and full face hair that will allow me to create creaturews like these:
I can't do that with those shaders, and the Genesis Gorilla texture leaves the face, abdoment, and chest bare. I need actual conforming mesh hair that covers the full body and face (except for the tip of the nose, fingers, and toes, and palms of the hands, and soles of the feet).
It wasn't when I downloaded it. At least not for the Mac. It only has a Windows 32 bit, not a Mac 32 bit. I just checked.
I have seen plenty of prop tree-stumps, but has anyone seen a hollow treestump I can get? One of those things where it looks like the inside of the treestump rotted away but the outside is still intact.

Does anyone know if there is anything out there that can remove textures from an item so you can apply your own. It's particularly daunting when I try to add my own textures to something and under surfaces I have all these things that need to be set to zero and even then it doesn't get rid of everything, only some things, especially if it's shaders or iray textures I am trying to remove.
Any help in this area would be appreciated.
The Rendo one isn't hollow: it just has a lip of bark on one edge. I think Mapps had one in one of his sets, though. Let me dig a little...
There's one in "Mapps_Poser_Trees" on http://www.freewebs.com/mapps/downloads6.htm that might work a bit (third item on the page).
Oh thank you, that stump is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I'd simply have to adjust it to 40% taller or something for it to work for what I want it for. :)
I'm trying to find a specific type of sniper rifle: an Armalite AR-50. I can't find one anywhere - anyone here know where to find one?
Hi all,
My son is making anapp as part of a school project. He has chosen to make a turn-based fight type game and am asking for some help with free poses. I tried to use DAZ, but everything I make looks terrible. (I do not have an artistic bone in my body)
I was able to download som old video game sprites and he used them, but cannot turn his project in with copyrighted material. (makes sense)
I can describe the game and even show the poses we have chosen if it helps.
If anyone is interested in helping us, I would greatly appreciate it.
Gale
There are some Armlite rifles, mostly AR15s, at Turbo: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-model/armalite if you could use those
Thanks, but those are all the assault rifle types, and I'm looking for a sniper rifle type.
Would a free AS50 work: https://free3d.com/3d-model/as50-sniper-rifle-75716.html ?
ETA: Both pz3 and obj formats are included in the download and can be used id DS
Not quite, but it's a site that I missed so I'll check it out. Thanks.
Wow thanks Charlie for the great link!!!
OK I'm looking for a few more things. One is a 3d CNC machine porp, a gas forge prop, and a set of Nautolan head tenticles.
I'm also looking for an English Wheel, and Power Hammer:
I am looking for Japanese / Asian style squat toilets. You know, those loos where the bowl is literally in the floor and you squat down on it to use it.
I happened to find one on ShareCG that was part of an outhouse, but its mostly useless since everything is joined together as one object (so I can't seperate the fixture out), and the door-open morph on the structure seems to be broken because doesn't do anything at all.
Not free but there are a couple over at Turbo: https://www.turbosquid.com/Search/Index.cfm?keyword=Squat+Toilet
