...just checked, it doesn't, but a nice period dress so I DL'd it anyway.as it has been updated for Genesis.
The one by Gerald Day didn't work with the pose I have the character in as it caused the tied part to bury into her chest. I would have needed to be able to have it collide with both the hair and the character which isn't possible (yet)
Wish my modelling skill was better but looks like I'll have to go without as I have a deadline to meet.
Ok, recombinantmicrobe,
Here are some things that might help you:
In the attached image I have G2M wearing the tunic, tabard and pants from Norman for M3. All I did was use the push and smoothing modifies and a trick I learned from Tom Brandon. The trick is here: http://brandontom.com/blog/properly-applying-loose-fitting-victoria-4-clothing-to-genesis-or-genesis-2-female-in-daz-3d/ This trick allows you to keep the original bones of the clothing. When I used the smoothing option on the tabard the bottom of the skirt was spread out like G2M's legs are. I selected the shins and moved them back together to get the cloth to hang down.
As you can see there is still some trouble with the arms. They don't line up quite right for G2M but depending on what angle your camera is and how G2M is posed you might get away with how it looks. But if you are a purist like most of us and wish to have it fit better then I think this tutorial will help you. http://www.sharecg.com/v/61954/browse/3/PDF-Tutorial/DS4-TutorialRigging-High-Heels-for-Genesis-rev1 This starts with obj but if you go to page 8 you can rerig the clothing. You do have to convert the clothing to TriAxe weighting before proceeding with the rerigging.
So as to your beard issue. Below is a beard I made for the Genesis Rex character using Look at My Hair. I still have the preset. You don't have to get the Look at My Hair plug-in, you can use the free player http://www.daz3d.com/look-at-my-hair-free-player and my preset on Genesis. It will come in looking like the image with the default genesis is in. The player should allow you to tidy up the beard. Not sure if you can save your changes but I do know you can save the beard out as an obj. You can change the color of the beard through Studio and/or the Player. That pretty pink you see on it now is just what the color of the skin under the hair is. But as you can see in my Father Time image he has a grey beard. Just tell me if you are interested in it and I will package up what I have.
Try the other (Merry hair: separate material zones for ties and hair, so they can be hidden if you want to kitbash another hair under it). More of a '50s look, too, and the scarf ties behind the head.
...excellent, thank you. It's perfect. The hair actually fits the scene better than the hair I was using (V5 Ponytail)..

That's really cool Dolly. I got the LAMH player awhile back but haven't explored it much yet. I hadn't thought of that trick with the bones either so I think those will put a few new tools at my disposal. Thanks.

So are you wanting the preset? I have to figure out how to get Kendall or AA to put it on their site and I don't want to do that if you are not interested in the beard.

I got my armor things figured out but as for the beard... if you want to go ahead and spring the preset for me then thanks I love me some presets, but I don't own Rex yet so not sure how handy it would be for the time being.
Well the good news is that having Rex is not needed only Genesis. LAMH does not know about Rex persay. It just knows that it needs to follow what ever morphs you are using. So I will see how to get that preset up on the website. Glad to hear that your armor is working for you.

Oh cool. Thanks Dolly.
I had some other thoughts too about converting hair back and forth into props or figures when I was noodling around with porting stuff over from my old account I had from back when I was using DS version 2.3 to this one and my copy of DAZstudio 4.6 (and switching my Valentina DB that had gotten corrupted over to the POSTgreSQL CMS) and it got me to wondering about weights, memorize and zero settings for converting stuff, you know? While wrapping my head around that I'm starting to get the impression that if I combine those and the hair manipulation I could probably do something to make beards without having to necessarily spring for Garibaldi Express or the Make Hair Plug-ins. They probably won't look as nice as the ones produced using those but for a quick and dirty little render it should do the trick. :cheese:
I do have Genesis.
There are some beard morphs on the Grim figure in this week's freebie bundle that are built directly into Michael 2's face as well I'd noticed. They don't have material presets to look like hair but the texture and bumps seem to be there. Hmm.
Looking for a union suit texture for the V4 bodysuit. I tried making one, but it doesn't look so good. I'm looking for something like this:
http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/47346?feat=union suit-SR0&page=women-s-two-layer-union-suit
In any color. Thanks a lot!
Edit: Turns out Rendo has exactly what I want, but for M4, not V4:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/long-johns-underwear/103920/
Is there a way to convert it?
Edit 2: I got XD4. Working with it now. So far, so good.
OK, here's a challenging request for anyone out there it find. I need a blanket. Here's the catch though, I don't need one that's for sleeping under on a bed. I've found plenty of those. I need one that can be wrapped around a standing person, like is done in emergencies, as in the attached scene below.
If you can use Daz dynamic items, the eider down blanket at http://www.optitex-dynamiccloth.com/FreebieDownload06.php might fit your needs.
I'm looking for a girl's dress/pinafore similar to this outfit at Renderosity: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=107474 . I know this is a maid outfit, but I really like the full apron with bodice and ruffled shoulders. Any recommendations? Gen 3, Gen 4, Genesis 1 and G2F suggestions all accepted. Thanks.

So far I have been unsuccessful at creating successful modifications of the human head to suit what I am looking for.
What I am trying to create is a human head that looks just like normal humans EXCEPT that the normal human ear location is deleted from the side, and relocated to the top of the head, while the ears, after being relocated, are bear-type semi-circular shapes.
I had also thought of creating a headprop that when placed on the top of the head, would be a semi-arch with the two ears at the top.
Another idea would be to simply commission an expert to create this prop.
Looking for the best way to go about this. An example of what I am looking for is below:
My thanks in advance!
(MOD EDIT: merged into the request thread.)
The only one I can find for free is for ChibiBel ... http://www.sharecg.com/v/32743
there is this Apron http://www.sharecg.com/v/72004/related/21/DAZ-Studio/Ghastlys-Hadaka-Apron-genesis-1
There's also this, for Aiko 4 http://www.sharecg.com/v/62212/gallery/11/Poser/Cooking-Stage-Dress-for-A4
A pinafore style apron by itself I found, for V4 http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/?item_id=45024
So I have uploaded the preset for the beard here: http://www.sharecg.com/v/78694/view/21/DAZ-Studio/A-Wizards-Beard Have fun.
LadyChance -- Hmmm, I'll take a look at the Cooking Stage outfit and see if that will work. Those accessories are pretty entertaining! :D

Does anyone know if ballet shoes exist for M4? Nothing fancy, just plain ballet slipper-style shoes. It would really be nice add those to the offering somewhere. Thanks!
Not free, but http://www.daz3d.com/pretty-in-pink
Has anyone seen any harem-style pants in their travels? I have Adzan's Solar Solace freebie for H3, http://www.sharecg.com/v/36256/gallery/11/Poser/solarletariat-twin-pack , but let's just say that calling those leg decorations + crotch jewelry "pants" is an extremely liberal interpretation. :p I'd really like some actual pants that cover the whole leg. I tried to take the link in the A3 freebie list here for the Djinni outfit, but I got a 403 Forbidden error. Any leads would be appreciated.

Djinni links
Hi Kerya -- thanks for the Wayback Machine links to Eldritch's A3 Djinni set. the archived page linked in that thread did NOT contain any of the ZIP files, but I found a later archive that did. Just in case others are looking for the set, functional downloads for it [at least as of December 12th, 2014] may be found here: http://web.archive.org/web/20100123043220/http://www.eldritch.se/poser/Djinni/ .

Thanks for the link!

Here are some links for your MW. Don't know if you can deal/use some of these models but DAZ Studio is just amazing when it comes to using one figures clothing on another figure, if you want to take the time and effort to figure things out. I know you are pretty savy when it comes to manipulating objects, so I am thinking that you can do some amazing things with this list and so here are some ideas:
DAZ Dynamic:
Harem Pant for V4 by Opitex http://www.optitex-dynamiccloth.com/FreebieDownload02.php
You could also use their sweat pants for the male harem pants. Find a shader that gives you a more sheer/transparent look. I have listed a couple below.
Jogging Pant for M4 and Genesis M4 by Optitex http://www.optitex-dynamiccloth.com/FreebieDownload13.php
Poser dynamic:
You can convert them to tri-axe figures. Since the pants are close to the leg the weight maps of what ever figure you choose will work pretty well with them, so there is not much work other than converting them to weight mapped objects. The Maternity pants are really sweat pants and the idea used for the jogging pants can be applied on the object to get your harem pant look. For the Outfit A converting to tri-axe applies. Even though the outfit was originally designed for the Girl with the tools DAZ Studio has to offer, you might get a very charming outfit for very little work. PhilC also has a harem outfit for P5Judy that might be very nice as well. It is on the same page as the Girl outfit. It is dynamic as well.
Dynamic Maternity Pants V4 by Frequency http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/?item_id=74223
Outfit A for Girl by PhilC Designs http://www.philc.net/freestuff_archive.php
Some pants for other figures. First one up are sweatpants for the DAZ Pre-schooler. This is the millennium girl or boy. I would try these with the grown-up morphs for G2F or the basic child for genesis.
PS Pants by yagami http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~yagami/FSPS.htm
This is for Gumdrops. Might work for some of the other cartoon characters.
Gumdrops Arabia by trumarcar http://trumarcar.francemi.net/gumdrop_tc.htm
This one is designed for G2F. Easy peasey
G2F Belly Dancer Outfit by wilmap https://www.wilmapsdigitalcreations.co.uk/view_product.php?id=252
Lastly, SickleYield had a very nice pair of harem pants for M4, Hiro 4, and Freak 4 on her deviantart account but they are no longer available. If you want them you might ask her if she would be willing to re-upload them for you. The attached picture is what the pants looked like.
Tulwar Pants Freebie by SickleYield for M4, H4, F4
Free shaders that could be modified to be used in creating a sheer material.
WinterLand Fabrics - 23 Ice and Snow Shaders by Calida http://www.calida3d.com/DSFree08_MAT.shtml change the diffuse color to get other than white.
honeycomb shader for daz 4.5 by DigiDotz http://www.sharecg.com/v/66079/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/honeycomb-shader-for-daz-4.5
Not a shader per-say. No presets in this set but lots of images that could be used to develop a sheer cloth shader in other than the honeycomb pattern.

Hope there are some new ideas for you and happy hunting.
Have been looking in vain for a free or purchasable newborn baby figure and swaddling clothing for it. I've looked for morphs for Mil Baby 3 and The Baby 4. Same with clothing to swaddle it. Can anybody help? Thanks!
