I'm looking for a Judge Dredd costume. I have the helmet, jumpsuit and boots, but it's the shoulder pad, shoulder eagle, elbow pads and  knee pads I don't have. There is a judge anderson costume out there with those but when I tried to register with the site that had it, the registration failed.

Thiis freebie set from MrSparky is quite old but the instructions for finding and using the various parts may be of some use. Scroll a little way down to the Judge Dredd Construction Kit:

That's the one I've got but the other stuff requires the judge anderson set, but the website mentioned (www.animotions.com), doesn't complete the registration when I try.

The required Judge Anderson set by Chemical Brothers is available on the Possette Forever website. You will have to be logged in to download

    http://www.posetteforever.com/dload.php?action=file&file_id=615

ETA: Today I was able to reactivate my old Possette Forever account and download the Judge Anderson set

With Possette Forever I tried to log in using the details I used to register and it said my username or password was incorrect, and when I tried to register again, it told me my username and email were already in use! And I got the same result trying to use the forgot password feature. It feels as if I'm registered but not allowed to use the site or something.

If that set requires all of those products....what is the actual product? Is it just a bunch of scale presets and poses?

If you want indians you might be interested in the Cheyenne bundle in the PC: https://www.daz3d.com/cheyenne-bundle

It's old products but really nice ones, and for a pretty good price. With a bit of scaling you could create action figures.

There are also quite a few "old west" sets in the PC.

  • Does anyone know of a guitar case meant for an acoustic guitar?
It doesn't need to be rigged, open or closed doesn't matter either I can make it work either way.

    Thanks in advance.

Has anyone found a decent free orrery (mechanical solar-system model)?  Doesn't have to be accurate or even heliocentric.

Thank you, the kind I'm looking for is the style of the one in that package on R'osity, unfortunately, when there's no money there's no such thing as inexpensive. So for right now, I can only get freebies.
    But I do appreciate it.

Hi, I'm looking for rigged figures of famous cartoon characters, like Bugs Bunny and Popeye, all the old classics really. I'm sure I've seen some a long time ago, but not sure where.

    Cheers.

Bugs Bunny was at Drakelot's page - don't search for it, it's dead and you get a page which makes my antivirus squeak! But maybe you downloaded it once upon a time?

I never had it. I'm sure there must be some of these characters around somewhere. Then again, maybe only on old, dead pages/sites, perhaps.

There's an antique (circa Poser4, and Vicki2/Mike2) site called Shar3d.com that has a few more:  Bill The Cat and Opus (both from Bloom County) and an Energizer Bunny.  It's not quite safe for work, though, so I'm not going to link straight to it here.

Cheers, it's surprising how often you can find an interesting/useful freebie on an old site.

Yes I love looking through old sites. My favorite thing to do is pull the web links out of the readmes and then try to find them in the wayback machine. Found some really cool things doing that. Scott Ayer's has some older cartoon characters here: https://web.archive.org/web/20190222173051/http://www.morphography.uk.vu/dlscott.html just scroll down until you get to the section Cartoon Characters. Roadrunner, Pooh Bear, Odie. Below is a treasure I found "The Traugs" with Genesis2.

I always forget about the wayback machine when looking for old stuff. Thanks for the link (if you have any other cool ones, it'd be nice to see them). Cheers!

Do you guys know of freebies of any kind (poses, textures) that I can use with Centaur 8?

Poses and textures that are made for either Centaur 7 or DAZ Horse 2 are also supposed to work on Centaur 8, I believe.

That is correct, although you have to be a little careful using Horse 2 poses for a centaur or the human torso gets really stretched out.

I found one by accident over at ShareCG. Hopefully there are others.

Edit: Ok, seems there are quite a few actually at ShareCG. The quality isn't brilliant though, so maybe I need a commercial set.
