Sakura 8 with a few face morphs to soften up the features a little. The Sakura tree is beautiful, but my old machine had a hard time with it and it rendered super slowly. I think it's time for me to get a new machine soon. lol

Anyway, it's an Iray render. No postwork. Made with an NPR product I developed that I was going to release as a product, but sadly the latest version of Daz Studio dramatically changed the look of the shaders (again - it's happened twice now). So, unfortunately, I probably won't be able to release the NPR shaders and render settings as a product. I spent about a year developing it and had to remake it twice, due to different versions of DS being released and changing how the shaders look. Finally with the latest release changing the look of the shaders yet again, I think it's time to set it down and give up on the idea of releasing it as a product.

This is a remake of an oder render.  The orginal image was done with Hitomi in 3Delight.  This one is IRAY with Sakura 8.  Post-work was done on both.

Sakura is pretty versatile if you play around with her default settings and buy some of her add-ons (which I haven't yet but will).

Oh nice! I think the older version has a little bit more of an "American" comic style, while the newest version looks a bit more anime (to me anyway). I think both versions look great. I love Sakura, she's fantastic! :)

I prefer the Hitomi one myself. My main complaint with Sakura(lack of official male counterpart aside) is that her nose looks like someone slammed it really hard in a book.

There are different nose shapes with her default settings.  She has several add-ons (which are in sale quite a bit) in which you can get different nose shapes.  One of the addons I was looking at has several character presets with skins and different nose shapes. 

That being said, I may go with the FF stylized characters for any comics I do and use Hiro/Hitomi/Sakura, etc, for one-off images.

There is one male version of Sakura.  I've posted it.  Also, you can still use the G1 models with her.  I think Hiro looks great next to her.

What I'm saying is that they(the PAs behind the character) are gonna have to come up with a proper companion, if they want me to part with $45 for the base figure.

I got Sakura on sale.  I rarely buy anything at full price.

FF7 was definatly an inspiration.  Ironically, I've never played the games (no playstation), but I'm familar with the characters, especially Tifa.  I've seen a ton of fanart for her.
