I've put together some vibrant (and some icky) material settings for the Daz Anatomy. It uses the original textures and models, but achieves dramatic new look.
Don't have the organs? You're in luck, they are on significant sale!

(and other bundles)
Note that M4/V4 organs and skeletons can warp a bit if you autofit them to later generations, but you can still achieve good results, particularly if the entire set of organs aren't visible. The brain is particularly easy to simply parent and move around to achieve effects in, say, alien Genesis 8 models or similar.

Now *this* is really cool. Love that older items are getting a new lease on life, especially the Anatomy organs.
Also, I love the 'Temple of Doom' reference. ;)
Not something I'm ever likely to use, but great work :)
And the 'Temple of Doom' promo made me laugh ;)
Igor! Fetch me a brain!
What kind master?
Hmmm... one that glows in the dark.
An Abby Normal one you say?
:P Thanks for bringing new "life" to these. Dropping a copy into my cart.
Was hoping someone would eventually do this - well done for being influenced by that other post! :)
How did you get it to replicate the poses of later generation figures? Does the skeleton/etcetera autofit to the figure or would it be the other way around? Was wanting to get that exact effect with the orange peel and skinned anatomical skin products as you managed there!
The main promo figures are actually skeleton and organs autofitted to Genesis 8 Female. When I was initially playing with it I was frankly rather astonished how well it worked. You will note that a few small details are off, like the elbows.
With the zombie playing chess, the fit was to G2M. Mostly right, but there was a little pokethrough at the fingers and a few other places. Collision helped, but I also hid a few sections that were supposed to be covered anyway. The kneecaps clipped through, for example, so I hid them. Ultimately the legs weren't even in view, silly me.
The brain can autofit very well except some of the details of the medula oblongata and other bits, which get distorted a lot. You can either just parent it, or rely on it not being visible (like with the glowing alien brain promo).
And if you really want to get fancy, you can use Oso Blendy to do the peel such that it's muscle on the inside and regular skin on the outside... although that might be too 'busy' of an image.
Excellent — in my cart, just about to buy it.
All we need now is a proper refit for the later Genesis generations; I've never had much luck converting them myself, there's just too much pokethrough and distortion.
One thing I’m going to be really curious about is whether a Generation 4 to Genesis 8 RSSY converter will do a better job.
Will try it if they ever figure out how to do the conversion...
Oh, and one trick I find very useful for working with M4/V4; pose a Genesis figure, copy it, paste to the M4/V4 figure. I find it much easier than other ways of posing it.
If you are using M4/V4 skeletons, you can fit the organs to them.
For those who want fantasy skeletal warriors, another fun mix in is https://www.daz3d.com/lorez-skeleton-bundle
I've found, with a little tweaking, I can use the helmets and armor from the bundle on the regular M4/V4 skeleton (parented, not fit).
Not really, this is about adding Iray look and feel to 3delight maps.
The advice in the thread is your best bet; you need to make layers and then paint transparency mask to see through the outer one.
So glad you made this, and I got it yesterday. As I looked at the promos, I thought, "I can do this myself," but as I kept looking, I thought better. The next bonus was when I saw it in my cart and the loyalty discount kicked in. Thanks for continuing to come up with novel ideas!
