    @ MilosGulan:  You can always find promo pictures in the RAR. In the portal picture the freebie is built in every day ;-)

    I could not open "Wassermühle.obp" Day 3. Has anyone been able to do this?

    Where could not you open it? In Bryce or even the RAR file not?

    I downloaded both files (Vorschau Wassermühle.jpg 480 Kb and Wassermühle.obp 43580 Kb) and did everything right. I am not the first day in Bryce!

    Ps. I understood the reason! Bryce (or OS?) does not want to read the German letter "ü".

    Slepalex - maybe the Umlaut (ü) is a problem for the OS, the folder name. Though I run a German Win7, I never use umlauts or French accents or such. I'm glad you could finally made it work.

    Bryce easily opens files with Russian names and overcomes the paths with Russian names, unlike Wings 3D. But apparently this does not apply to the Presets folder. True, all my files have Latin names.
    Gee! Besides the umlaut, there is still one sly letter ß.

    Hehe! I translated the name of the UFO file into Russian (НЛО), moved it to the Presets folder. Look what happened. Bryce opened everything perfectly. Moreover, I renamed the model name inside Bryce. The name turned into the same abracadabra as the name of the file, although when selection the name shows the real Russian name.


    Complete discrimination towards the German language! :-) Partial - in relation to Russian. I wonder how is the case with Arabic or Chinese? Although, I think that some letters of the Russian language Bryce also can not swallow.

    There is a utility that prevents such distortions in Bryce and Poser, but I have never used it.
