A Question to True Ambience And Blurry Reflections

I used True Ambience with the option "blurry reflections" and "blurry transmissions". What does influence the amount of blurriness with these options. I liked a clearer reflection of the cube on the ground plane. Thanks in advance for any hint.

@electro-elvis - In the Mat Lab, the Specular Halo colour is the main control. The brighter white, the more the influence. David may correct or complement me, he used it more extensively than I have.
It is the Luminance value of the Specular Halo colour. The response is not linear so you will not notice much difference between low values but at the top end there are dramatic differences in response.
Ah, then it is as with normal specular halo: small difference from 0 to 250, then huge difference when increasing by 1.
@Horo and David: Thank you for your answers. Interesting effect. I tried to improve my first attempt. It is still a bit noisy, especially in the reflection of the cube. I used 64 pixels for TA.
