DAZStudio crashes when exporting genitalia

Hi,

I am having issues exporting any genesis 2 figures with genitalia to fbx, daz studio crashes as long as the genitalia is there.

New figure + genitalia = crash
New figure on its own = ok
Genitalia on its own = ok

I am running the latest version of DAZ Studio pro on a mac, it crashes both with 32 and 64 bits,

I tried to export them separately and stitch them in maya, but I need the deformations... (the genitalia would be just in default position, but it needs to adapt its shapes to the figure).

What shall I do? Debug why does it crash? or does anyone know how to export the genitalia with its deformations alone?

I dont want an asexual figure so any help is appreciated...

    Unfortunately, the FBX Exporter isn't the most reliable tool in the box. The likely issue here is that the genitals are a separate figure complete with a unique bone structure of their own to accommodate the additional movement. Essentially what you're trying to do is export two figures as one, and the exporter probably doesn't know how to reconcile the bone differences.

    Whether there's a way around this I couldn't say. I neither own the genitals nor have had many successes with FBX exporting in general. I'll leave that to people savvier than I to answer.

    i have got a similar problem. fbx crashing constantly
