I could use an adult onesie or union suit for G8m with morphs. Does it exist?

learn something new every day. I never knew it was ever called a union suit. Growing up I wore them often and they were always called "longjohns"

I'd like a dforce version myself, for both genders

I don't know if a one-piece union suit like that exists for any generation. Someone -- I don't remember who -- was trying to do one ages ago, for I think original flavor Genesis. I remember that they ran into all sorts of problems with the rigging and morphs, and eventually abandoned it.

I hope someone can make it. I'd buy that in a snap.

I always thought that union suits were one piece, and longjohns were two-piece -- separate top and bottoms. That said, I've heard longjohns used for both one and two-piece, but union suits only for the one piece.

I wonder if this is one of those regional things -- like how in the southeastern US, most carbonated drinks are called "cokes", even when they have nothing to do with Coca-Cola.

Never heard then called Union Suits, just Longjohns, (I'm not in the USA) and I have one for M4 from Rendo I bought years ago .It was by Coflek Gnorg but they seem to have gone now. I wouldn't say no to a updated version.

union suit Wikipedia is here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_suit

People used to wear them as plain undergarments year round.

Long johns are two piece and union suits are one piece. With the butt flap

My grandpa apparently wore the union suit year round under a full set of clothing. Even in heat.

i see Santa wearing the union suit and I think it’s cute. But it would be cute for cowboys and sexy renders as well.

I made a quick and ditry union suit in MD.  If you want I can give you the obj format and then you can transfer the suit over and apply whatever shader you have.

I would love that. But I’m sorry to admit I don’t know how to make a character wear an obj outfit. Please repost your image...since I cannot see it....and I’m sure it’s lovely.

  • Thats weird.  I did attach image.  Heres round 2.

Send me a DM.  I'll provide you the .DUF of the Union Suit.  Its very ugly though with the weight map.  Its stretches ugly in some poses.  I  made seperate zones where you can apply D-force onto the clothing area from what I read on the fourms.

(Please limit the width to 800 px so forum software doesn't stretch the image. ~Mod)

I've heard them called panhandles too, because after they weren't so common please people's first encounter seeing someone wearing them was hobos and panhandlers because being outdoors all the time they needed clothing that is practical and warm. They haven't been that common since the 80s. You can't buy them in stores locally here anymore but must special order them. They are great to wear in winter in drafty houses.

I couldn't even find Coflek as a Vendors - your Search-fu is good ;-) And apologies Wilma - I have that one too, but forgot.

  • Well I went and checked .. long johns are any tight fitting long sleveed top and bottom under garment. Union suits or combinaiton suits (in the UK)  are sewn together, and usually have a butt flap access panel.

The only Union suit I have in my heap 'o stuff  is from michael 3 that I've converted along. There are various clothing items that will work for long johns, including some fo the bodysuits.
