  • Having a problem getting dForce Sister Mary Outfit Textures to install.  When I try DIM it's status ends up "Install Failed!", when I tried manual download and unzip (to any folder) I get "Error 0X80004005: Unspecified error" and checked in "Runtime\Textures\Sade\SisterMary\" everything below was empty, no files in sub-directories.  Thanks for your time and help with this and have a happy new year!  Rich

Hey, I'm having trouble with the Dragonlord costume kicking a simulation error. I've attached the log. I have Daz Studio 4.12 on Windows 10, 64 bit.

    Thanks!

In working with my library, I kept coming across outfits with textures that rendered looking so extravagant and expensive-looking. Each time, I discovered your name on the product. So, I just wanted to say thank you for your excellent eye for fashion, your obvious love or varied colors, and your consistent level of excellence, which have really made it very much easier for me to make images that excite the eye.

Convergence Outfit & Textures, dForce Immortals Outfit & Textures, Alliance Defense Outfit & TexturesdForce Wind Guardian Outfit & Textures, dForce Matador Outfit & Textures, Paladin of Solitude Outfit & Textures are some of my favorites because of the normals/displacement and the subtle yet noticeable glisten, but I own 160 products from your store. I also love both your brocade shader packs, of course. More shaders, please! Anyway, every time I see your name on a product, I look closely because I know there will be something beautiful to see. Keep up the great work.

Actually, I've found it seems to be a problem with Daz Studio. I tried it in the beta version and it worked.

I can only agree with the others. Your work is truly amazing! Lately I bought the Maid at Armd outfit and it's really wonderful. A set of realistic armor that fits fantasy and historic renders and yet is stylish.

My only complaint - but it's not a real complaint, it is only a kind of wish - I wish this outfit had more material zones. I wanted to separate the "skirt"-part of the armor from the cuirass so I can use my own fabric shaders or hide that part completely but it was one material zone. Ended up doing it myself with the geometry editor and only deleted the relevant parts.

Then, I wanted to use the cuirass for kitbashing purposes and turn the metal cuirass into a cured leather one. Now I wanted to retain the look of the silver texture set that has rivets in the diffuse and the normal map but not geometry rivet. If I use a leather shader i would not retain the rivet details of the diffuse and the normal map ... guess this is hardly your doing if you didn't edit the mesh. I will end up editing the maps myself in photoshop and separating the rivet details in the diffuse and normal maps and then paint all over with leather assets though this is a huge and daunting task so I was too lazy to begin with it immediately. Dunno if there were an easier solution? I really love that cuirass piece, it's incredibly well made and very versatile for kitbash purposes.

Asari: sometimes i wants make my own ideas, the maid at arm was one of them. the modeller was not daz modeller, he has no experience in it. the line on the chest armor killed many of my ideas sadly. the next will be better, hopefully!

the another trying also released in tha last days, Wood Warden.

    ok, i seems hyperactive lately.

    today:

    - pbr denim: two sided, like the real denim, not a simple shader

    +bonus fashion patches

    some example:

    some example:

I bought this, but I am having a problem with it. I did an animated dForce simulation of a garment and then applied the denim shaders at the end of the animated simulation. I was on frame 60. Everything I applied the shader to rendered black. It only seems to apply correctly if the timeline is set to frame 0. Sometimes I can go back to frame 0 and apply the shaders and then go to frame 60 again to render the final pose and it will be OK, but that is not consistent. I think that once the denim shader is applied in the last timeline frame, going back to frame 0 doesn't fix it. In that case I had to delete the garment and add it back in and start over. I have never seen this issue with any other shader I have tried.

    I am using DS 4.12.1.40.

Denim shader applied in timeline frame 60

    Denim applied in frame 60

Denim applied in timeline frame 0, then timeline set to frame 60 to render

I don't have this product, but I have noticed this glitch with the Janus shader and with another product that uses this shader.

I have found that saving the scene and re-loading it usually fixes the glitch.
